COVID Health & Safety Information

We ask all Festival attendees, participants, and volunteers to do their part to keep our community safe and healthy!

The Town of Mansfield requires everyone - regardless of vaccination status - to wear a mask when indoors in public spaces (e.g. Nash-Zimmer Transportation Center) and private businesses.

Your mask must cover your nose and mouth.

Masks are not currently required when outdoors, but all visitors, participants, and volunteers are welcome to wear a mask at any and all times.

We ask all Festival attendees, participants, and volunteers to perform a personal wellness check on the day of the event before they arrive.

Please do not attend the Festival

  • if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or are waiting for test results,

  • if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or

  • if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive or exhibited symptoms.

The CDC recommends maintaining a distance of at least six feet between yourself and other individuals who are not a part of your household.

When setting up your blanket or chair on Betsy Paterson Square, please be mindful to maintain some distance between yourself and other parties.

The CDC recommends washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Hand-washing stations will be located near the portable restrooms on Dog Lane (between 1 Royce Circle and 18 Dog Lane) and at the public restrooms in the Nash-Zimmer Transportation Center (23 Royce Circle, adjacent to the Downtown Storrs Parking Garage).

Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the Festival site.
