Our Mansfield Downtown Partnership staff and volunteers are hard at work getting ready for our 18th Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival!
We continue to monitor health and safety guidelines from local, state, and federal agencies. As of Thursday, September 30, we are on-course for a fun, in-person, outdoor event on Saturday, October 2 in Downtown Storrs.
Get ready for a full day of fun! Here's a look at what you will find at this year's Celebrate Mansfield Festival:
Enjoy a wide variety of hands-on fun, courtesy of Mansfield business and community organizations and UConn departments, programs, and student groups. From a "storywalk" to martial arts demos, a teddy bear check-up to Mansfield trivia games, there's something for everyone to enjoy!
NEW: CRAFT BOOTHS
We are introducing a juried craft show as part of this year's celebration! Find hand-made, artisan, and locally-sourced crafts on Dog Lane.
Help keep yourself, your family, and your community safe and healthy by getting vaccinated! Eastern Highlands Health District will offer free COVID and influenza vaccines from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wilbur Cross Way.
NEW: KIDS' ZONE!
The Celebrate Mansfield Festival is always a family-friendly affair. This year, we're designating Wilbur Cross Way as the "Kids' Zone" with fun activities for children concentrated together. Be sure to catch the Kidsville Kuckoo Revue (2:30 PM) and Pete Haddad's Hubba Bubba Magic Show (4:00 - 6:00 PM)!
NEW: RAIN DATE
This year, the rain date will be Saturday, October 9, 2021.
All participants will be notified 24 hours in advance if the rain date is utilized.
For visitors, announcements will be posted on this website, on our Mansfield Downtown Partnership and Downtown Storrs websites, on our social media platforms (@DowntownStorrs on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) as well as through other means of outreach.
As of August 14, 2021, the Town of Mansfield requires everyone to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth when indoors in public spaces and private businesses - regardless of vaccination status.
