VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!
The Mansfield Downtown Partnership relies on the help of hundreds of volunteers to make each Celebrate Mansfield Festival a success.
We invite individuals, families, businesses, sports teams, clubs, and student and community organizations to volunteer.
We are happy to provide documentation of services upon request.
Volunteers are needed to through out the day with a variety of tasks, including:
Set-up (11:00 AM to approx. 2:00 PM): Assist booth participants with setting up tents; carrying tables, chairs, and other supplies to needed locations; Assisting participants in finding their way through the Festival site, and other tasks
Booth breakdown (5:30 PM to approx. 7:00 PM): Assist participants in packing up their booths and carrying their items to their vehicles and other tasks
Clean-up (7:00 PM to approx. 9:00 PM): Take down tables, chairs, and tents; Collect signage and decorations; Carry supplies to storage, and other tasks
Most of our volunteer activities on the day of the event involve a lot of walking and carrying items. If you are unable to complete those activities but are still interested in volunteering, please contact the Mansfield Downtown Partnership (email us or call 860.429.2740). We would be happy to discuss other ways in which you might be able to participate.
Volunteers will receive a Festival t-shirt (while supplies last), and the Partnership can provide confirmation of service upon request.
We welcome individuals, families, student groups, and local businesses and organizations to sign up together or individually.
