Thank you for your cooperation. Let's all do our part to keep our community safe and healthy!

NEW for 2021

The Mansfield Downtown Partnership is excited to welcome everyone back to Betsy Paterson Square for a day of celebrating the people, businesses, and community organizations that make Mansfield a wonderful place to live and grow!

There will be some changes for our 18th Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival, some made for health and safety and some made to help make the day even more special for our community!

This year, the rain date will be Saturday, October 9, 2021.

The Celebrate Mansfield Festival is always a family-friendly affair. This year, we're designating Wilbur Cross Way as the "Kids' Zone" with fun activities for children concentrated together.

We are introducing a juried craft show as part of this year's celebration! Find hand-made, artisan, and locally-sourced crafts on Dog Lane.

The Eastern Highlands Health District will offer free COVID and influenza vaccines from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wilbur Cross Way. Help protect yourself, your family, and your community by getting vaccinated!

Please note: Some event details may be adjusted to meet changing COVID-19 health and safety guidelines from the State of Connecticut. Please check back often for updates, or sign up to receive email updates from the Partnership here.

Each fall, we celebrate the people, businesses, and organizations that make Mansfield unique!

The Mansfield Downtown Partnership hosted the first Festival in 2003 as a way to bring residents of the Town of Mansfield and UConn students, faculty, and staff together for a day that celebrates the best of Mansfield including art, music, entertainment, food, games, and activities while promoting the redevelopment of Downtown Storrs. The Partnership's first Festival featured approximately 24 booths and was held in the parking lots behind the existing commercial buildings.

In 2014, the Partnership was pleased to hold the Celebrate Mansfield Festival on the new Betsy Paterson Square. The Festival has continued to grow and in 2019 featured nearly 100 booths, over 100 volunteers, and over 4,000 visitors. Over 100 local businesses and community organizations participated in the celebration!

In 2019, the Partnership made some exciting changes: The 16th Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival was held on a Saturday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Downtown Storrs. The new schedule featured entertainment all day, with the activity booths that make our event special in the afternoon and a closing concert in the evening.

Due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the Celebrate Mansfield Festival had a different format and feel. Rather than a large, one-day event, we celebrated our community all month-long in September with a town-wide scavenger hunt, a contest to win gift cards to local restaurants, and more.

The Partnership is pleased to be able to host its 18th Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival on Saturday, October 2, 2021 on and around Betsy Paterson Square in Downtown Storrs!
