As part of its low-waste efforts, the Mansfield Downtown Partnership encourages biking, riding the bus, carpooling, and walking to the Celebrate Mansfield Festival.
By Foot
Downtown Storrs is within an easy walking distance of UConn and several residential neighborhoods.

By Bicycle
For visitors arriving by bicycle, bike racks are located throughout Downtown Storrs, including outside the Nash-Zimmer Transportation Center.
Cyclists are asked to please walk their bikes through the Festival during the event, for the safety of all visitors.
By Bus
Downtown Storrs is served by CTtransit, WRTD, and UConn.
On Saturday, September 30, they each will have alternate stops due to the road closures for the Celebrate Mansfield Festival:
674 A / B will continue to service the stops on Route 195
674 C will continue to service the stops on South Eagleville Road
UConn Campus Loop will turn around at the Mansfield Community Center Parking Lot
Riders traveling to Hartford via the 913 EXPRESS should use the bus stop on Bolton Road Extension in the parking lot by E. O. Smith High School
Please note: There will be NO stops along Wilbur Cross Way or at the Nash-Zimmer Transportation Center.
By Car
The Downtown Storrs Parking Garage will be open and free all day on Saturday, Sept. 30.
To access the garage:
From Storrs Road (Route 195), turn onto Charles Smith Way
Turn left onto Wilbur Cross Way
Turn right onto Elsie Marsh Way
Turn onto right onto Royce Circle
The garage entrance will be on your left
Additional, free parking will be available at the following locations:
E. O. Smith High School (1235 Storrs Road)
Mansfield Town Hall (4 S. Eagleville Road - lot accessed from Storrs Road)
Mansfield Community Center (10 S. Eagleville Road)
UConn - Please be sure to read and follow all signage regarding restrictions to times, users
Parking at the following locations will be open only for customers of the businesses located there. Please DO NOT PARK at:
1244 Storrs Road (“Storrs Commons”)
1232 Storrs Road (“University Plaza”)
1220 Storrs Road (Price Chopper)
9 Charles Smith Way (Post Office)
Road Closures
To accommodate the event, the following streets will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM:
Dog Lane from Storrs Road to the Royce Circle intersection at 9 Dog Lane (Jefferson Fry Co.)
Royce Circle from the intersection of Dog Lane near Barnes & Noble UConn to the Wilbur Cross Way intersection
Wilbur Cross Way from Royce Circle to Elsie Marsh Way
Bolton Road Ext.
West Access Road (behind 33 Wilbur Cross Way/Kathmandu Kitchen)
