LULADA CLUB

NEW YORK’S ALL-WOMEN SALSA ORCHESTRA

Lulada Club is a groundbreaking all-women salsa ensemble redefining the golden era of Latin dance music with a fresh, soulful edge. Founded by Andrea Chavarro and Katherine Ocampo, two Colombian American musicians, the group channels the power of visibility and representation into every performance — celebrating Latin heritage while reimagining it for a new generation. Since its inception, Lulada Club has electrified stages at iconic institutions including Lincoln Center and the Smithsonian Museum, where they honored Celia Cruz during the unveiling of her U.S. quarter. Their recognition as the first all-women salsa band featured in Rolling Stone marked a historic milestone for gender equity in Latin music.
